A few days ago I read Matthew T. Aspden’s post at Mattsden101 and was extremely impressed with his first attempt at WordPress’ Weekly Writing Challenge, Through the Door. I decided to take a crack at it as well. It was … Continue reading Through the Door
I don’t like making New Year’s resolutions. They are almost always prone to be broken. I’d rather make small, realistic and yet attainable goals that I can manage. Years ago I had set out to write more often and thus the birth of this blog. It seems though that I am posting more pictures on it and participating in these fun photo challenges than writing anything worthwhile. Blogging requires committment… and a lot to say and write. I have a lot to say but nothing really worthwhile that requires extensive writing. I … Continue reading Blogging is not for the lazy

Ever since he moved back to New York City, we’ve been discussing teaming up and finally publishing an idea he came up with back in 1998: a noir comic based on a regular private investigator living in a world full of superheroes with questionable morals. Although I already have an origins story “in the can” for Harry Hawkins, I am struggling as a writer to create new … Continue reading Crime Buster, inc.
