While walking along 10th Avenue last week, out of the corner of my eye I catch a large display of color. Curious, I walk about a block or two and discovered this beautiful mural. I whip out my iPhone and snap away. Later, I take more pictures while walking along The High Line. This is actually two separate murals.
I did very little photo manipulation with this shot. I applied some lens correction by straightening out the building a little bit. I also increased saturation and clarity slightly as the colors were already bright and perfect.
The artist is Eduardo Kobra and he’s a professional painter, having done many beautiful works of art all over the world. To learn more about him, go to his website, eduardokobra.com. He is simply amazing.

That’s gorgeous!
Indeed! I just took the picture, Kobra did all the hard work!
Thanks for dropping by my blog – and I’m glad I found yours. Now following.
Thanks! Looking forward to your posts. My 11-year old daughter and I started to Google your telescope and were simply amazed. Wish I could afford one!
Looks like Korba did a good job of matching up the rays of color between the two murals!
I just noticed that! Good eye! Had I known, I would’ve positioned myself a little better for the shot. Oh well…
