I just recently got back from a business trip in Providence, RI. It was my first visit to this beautiful city and I wanted to take some great pictures in between my visits to the local schools. Unfortunately a few shots in, my battery died on my Canon G12! I was so upset.
Having no other equipment, I decided to take some shots with the iPhone 4s. Much has been made about the stellar pictures this iPhone produces, even rivaling some point-and-shoot cameras and even a few DSLRs. I put that to the test in the days that I was in the city.
For the most part, the pictures turned out okay. Low light pictures produced a bit of noise so I had to clean it up on Lightroom. I was pretty pleased with a lot of the pictures I took. The camera came through in a pinch. I will return to Providence in April and this time I’ll bring a long my Nikon D90 and I’ll make sure to have the camera fully charged!
